FLOWERY BRANCH – Flowery Branch police are looking for others who might be victims of two suspects taken into custody following a burglary at a home in Sterling on the Lake.

Investigator Robin Kemp said the arrest was made Thursday, “They had just (done) a burglary there in Sterling.  They had taken a large amount of cash, jewelry and other items.”

Taken into custody were 28-year old Jorge Enrique Navarro of Grayson and 23-year old Enrique Cortes Figueroa of Norcross.

Kemp says it appears the two suspects have been targeting particular individuals.  “The two suspects are possibly connected to other burglaries in the Hall and Gwinnett County areas where Asian business owners were targets,” Kemp wrote on the departments FaceBook page.

“They were apprehended there trying to leave the scene,” Kemp said about Thursday’s arrest which involved canine units.  “A third suspect is involved but fled the scene.”

The suspects were driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox at the time of the burglary.

Kemp said most of the stolen items were returned to the homeowners and asks that anyone who knows the whereabouts of the third suspect, or who feels they might have been the victims of the suspects, to contact the Flowery Branch Police Department at (770) 967-6336.
