*Twenty-six doctors affiliated with Northeast Georgia Health System have been named to Atlanta magazine's Top Doctors list.  Click here to find out who they are.

*Watch for more lane closures this week starting Monday along the I-85 corridor in Gwinnett, Barrow, and Jackson counties where the road is being widened.

*Colleges in northeast Georgia are preparing for their summer commencement ceremonies.  Piedmont's will be held July 26 and the University of North Georgia's on Aug. 2 on the Dahlonega campus. 

*Sawnee EMC says it received a 93 percent approval rating during its most recent customer satisfaction survey. 

*GBI agent Tony Lima of Rabun County has been named Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the agency's Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit. 

*The newly formed Jackson County theatre company, Rogue Spirit Productions, has officially received its non-profit 501(c)(3) certification.

*Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will begin accepting registrations for fall baseball and softball on Monday, July 22, with registration closing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6.   For more information, visit parks.forsythco.com or call (770) 781-2215.

*State Rep. Kevin Tanner (R-Dawsonville) recently received the 2019 Legislative A-Team Member Award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Georgia. Tanner was recognized for championing House Bill 514 during the 2019 legislative session, which established the Georgia Behavioral Health Reform and Innovation Commission.
