The death of an Elbert County child found unresponsive late Tuesday night has been ruled an accident.
“Her name is Wilma Michelle King,” said Elbert County Coroner Chuck Almond. “She’s 2 years old. She was staying at a Montevideo address here in Elberton. She had an accident at home that claimed her life,” Almond said.
While Almond did not release an exact cause of death, he said no foul play was involved.
The call to a Montevideo Road address was placed just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
