City of Gainesville pays honor to fallen Hall County Sheriff Deputy

The City of Gainesville is lighting the downtown pedestrian bridge in royal blue to honor fallen Hall County Sheriff Deputy Nicolas Dixon. 

The city is also lowering all flags at city facilities to half staff. 

Additionally the city is suspending municipal court for Thursday so that officers and others can attend the funeral of Dixon. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. at Free Chapel Worship Center.
