A suspect who robbed a Dollar General store in Lumpkin County Sunday night is said to be armed and dangerous.

Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard said the hold-up was reported at 8:47 p.m. at the store at 5019 S. Chestatee Street, which is on Ga. 60 just north of Ga. 400.

Jarrard described the suspect as a white male in his mid-20s to early 30s.

"He has a large tattoo on his left arm of a cloverleaf. His arm has other tattoos on it," Jarrard said in a recorded post on the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

Jarrard said the suspect was wearing a dark-colored t-shirt with the words "I'm So Fly" across the front. He was wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes and a khaki ball cap.

Jarrard said the employees at the store were not physically hurt, but they were upset by the incident.

Anyone who might have information on the suspect is asked to call Capt. Marcus Sewell at 706-482-2619 or Lumpkin County Dispatch at 706-864-3633.
