Voters in Flowery Branch go to the polls Tuesday for a special city council election.
They'll be trying to fill the unexpired term of Mary Jones, who resigned last December. Jones, who cited "health reasons" for her resignation, according to Mayor Mike Miller, died early last month. Her seat on the council has remained vacant since her resignation.
Three people are hoping to succeed her: Ed Asbridge, Melissa Brooks, and Chip McCallum
