Dacula man charged with battery and making terroristic threats after South Hall confrontation

A Dacula man in behind bars after a Wednesday evening confrontation in South Hall County.

Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware said the incident happened in a parking lot on Lanier Islands Parkway when Phillip Ross Johnson, 35, allegedly drug a woman by her hair, leaving visible marks on her body.

Ware said Johnson also damaged a car belonging to an unnamed man and threatened to kill him, as well.
 
He was arrested without incident.

Johnson is charged with battery, terroristic threats or acts and criminal damage to property.
 
As of Thursday evening, bond had not yet been set.
