A landmark alongside Georgia 365 near Alto - the School Bus Graveyard - is getting a new addition.

Members of the Banks County High School Art Club recently completed painting an old car which will be included in the large number of old vehicles, mostly school buses, that now dot the landscape near the Hall-Habersham county line.

According to a posting on the Banks County School System's Facebook page, the car was donated by school bus driver Walter Wade.

The "graveyard," which has been in existence for several years, has been mentioned by a number of news outlets, including AccessWDUN, in recent years.

AccessWDUN's Alyson Shields featured it in a blog she posted three years ago and in a news story last November.
