A Gainesville man is behind bars charged with assault stemming from two domestic violence incidents.
Hall County Sheriff investigators said on two occurences, Eliseo Banda-Quaroz, 42, assaulted a woman including kicking her in the ribs and rubbing feces on her face and into the mouth of an eight-year-old boy.
They said the feces assault happened in front of a 12-year-old girl.
He was arrested after investigators received information from a local shelter.
Banda-Quaroz is charged with Battery and Cruelty to Children and is being held without bond in the Hall County Detention Center.
