Investigators are working to determine what caused a crane to collapse at a quarry in Oglethorpe County Monday.
WSGC Radio of Elberton reported, the collapse happened around 11:30 a.m., killing the crane's operator Danny Roth, 58, Carlton.
Roth was pronounced dead at the scene of the Millstone Granite Quarry.
A full investigation is said to be underway.
