MT. AIRY - A traffic stop Thursday led to the subsequent issuing of a search warrant and the arrest of a 21-year-old Mt. Airy man on various drug-related charges.

Mitchell Posey with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a press release that David Chase Anderson had been the subject of a three-month long investigation by the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the Habersham County Sheriff's Office.

A search of Anderson's home netted investigators five pounds of marijuana, one hundred hits of LSD, 159 THC vaping cartridges, $32,000 cash, and three firearms.

Anderson has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule-1 narcotic, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of a stolen firearm.
