No charges will be filed after a passenger vehicle drove through a building at a Dawsonville shopping center Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers from the Georgia State Patrol Cumming Post reported in an email statement that the driver, Rita Lynett Gayton, 71, of Dawsonville, was not injured. Gayton was reportedly attempted to park at the Dawsonville Town Center shopping center on Main Street in front of Suite 130. Instead of stopping in the parking space, her Volkswagen Jetta continued forward and jumped the curb.

The vehicle drove through the front glass wall of Suite 130 and partially through an interior wall between Suite 130 and 140, but troopers said both suites were unoccupied spaces.

The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. Wednesday.
