The woman accused of killing her 10-year-old stepdaughter by starving her has been found guilty by a Gwinnett County jury.

Atlanta media outlets covering the trial of Tiffany Moss say it took the jury less than three hours to reach a verdict Monday.

Moss was found guilty on six charges levied against her in the death of Emani Moss, whose emaciated body was found burned in a trash can at a Lawrenceville apartment complex in November 2013.

The trial now goes to the penalty phase.
