Georgia's annual ban on outdoor burning begins Wednesday in Hall and a number of other Georgia counties.
The ban, which is designed to reduce the amount of ozone that gets into the atmosphere during the warmest months of the year, will continue until the end of September. Fifty-four counties are included, most of them in north Georgia.
