Michael Page powered to the Super Late Model victory in Saturday night’s 16th annual Sprint Short Track Championships at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia.

Page, from Douglasville, Georgia began his night as fast qualifier, putting him on the pole for the start and when the green flag fell he never looked back. The real race was for second as Zach Leonhardi and Casey Roberts swapped the spot several times during the race. Both were able to gain ground on Page in lapped traffic but to no avail.

Roberts took the runner up for good leaving Leonhardi to settle for third. Gary McPherson finished in fourth, with Kurt English in fifth.

Brent Dixon, Shawn Chastain, Tyler Millwood, Mike McConnell and James Roulette rounded out the top ten.

In other action, Oliver Gentry led the way to the checkered flag ot win the Steelhead Late Model feature. It marked his first win of the season. Behind him, Landon Bagby finished in second, with Dale Thruman in third, Mike Weeks in fourth and Tyler Sanders in fifth.

Jason Deal outran Jimmy Thomas to win the Crate Late Model feature. Matthew Turner, T.J. Brittain, and Jake Pilgrim rounded out the top five.

In the tightest race of the night, Jonathan Martin grabbed his second win of the season in the 602 Sportsman feature after the apparent winner was disqualified in post race inspection. Zach Pilcher finished a close second in the No. 20 car usually piloted by Chris Sizemore. Daniel Brewer finished in third, with Rob Johnson in fourth and Jesse Goss in fifth.

A pileup occurred on the front stretch in the early laps of the Sportsman race and Track Official Tim Crossland was accidentally run over by a car during the clean up process. Crossland was transported to the hospital where X-Rays showed no broken bones or major injuries. He was just badly bruised and was home resting on Sunday.

Dan Meadows led wire-to-wire to win in the Economy Bomber feature. Dylan Armstrong tried to challenge for the victory, but settled for second as the laps ran out. Justin Begley followed in third, closely followed by Billy Dean in fourth and Chris Boyd in fifth.

Kenny Clark made it two in a row in the Street Stinger feature taking the win ahead of Chris Bragg. Rick Ricks finished in third, with Casey Creighton in fourth and Jason Young in fifth.
