Martin Truex, Jr. broke through with his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series short track victory at Richmond Raceway on Saturday night.

On this week's Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed and Amy Henderson (Pete McCole is away this week) review this past weekend's Toyota Owners 400, including:

-Truex, Jr. nabs his first win with Joe Gibbs Racing, putting to rest any thoughts about how well he could contend after the closing of Furniture Row Racing.

-Kyle Busch looked to have a hand in the outcome of the race, until a pit road speeding violation changed that.

-Joey Logano had another strong run, showing that Team Penske should be a team to deal with all season.

-Eight drivers had major setbacks from the beginning after failing pre-race inspection, including Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin.

-What are our plans for the off-weekend over the Easter holiday?
