Posted 5:45PM on Friday 12th April 2019 ( 5 years ago )

Duluth police filed charges against a Lawrenceville woman accused of hitting a 4-year old with a belt at a daycare center.

The child's father noticed injuries on his son in March and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution says Childcare Network fired 51-year old Nadine Jones the next day.

Duluth Police say Jones turned herself in April 8th and faces charges of first-degree cruelty to children.

She was released on a $5,700 bond.
