Dustin Cason came out on top of a one-lap dash at the end of Saturday’s Limited Late Model feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway to score the victory.

Cason dominated the event, even if it did get off to a rocky start.

Chris Woods started the feature on the pole, with Cason on the outside. As the two raced on the drop of the green, they made contact in turn two. That sent both cars sliding, with Woods spinning to a stop while Cason was able to keep moving. As a result, Cason held his position on the second start attempt, while Woods was moved to the back of the field.

On the second start attempt, Cason used the outside line to grab the lead, and moved away from John Anderson in second. Cason would move away from the field, and looked to have the win in hand when a late caution came out, setting up a one lap dash for the win.

On the final start, Cason sprinted away from Anderson, and went on to record the victory.

Anderson finished in second, with Woods in third and Robin Collins in fourth.

In other action, Chase Lampp held off Chris Jones to score the Hobby feature win. Nick Sellers finished in third, with Tyler Canup in fourth and Andy Barton in fifth.

Ronnie Poole took the victory in the Modified Street feature, with Nick Sellers in second and Jordan Poole in third.

Mark Chancey scored the win in the Stock V8 feature. Trey Pilgrim finished second, with Ronnie Poole in third.

P.J. Taylor edged out Justin Taylor to take home the Stock 4A feature. Kyle Braswell, Scotty Cox and Roger Cothran rounded out the top five.

Jason Fowler was the winner in the Stock 4B feature, with John Martin second, Bobby Croya third, David Ivester fourth and B.J. Franklin fifth.

Saturday also saw the return of the Front Wheel Drive division to Winder-Barrow Speedway, with Trey Chapman beating out Wayne Chapman for the win. Eddie Segars finished in third, with Daniel Earnest in fourth and Nathan Earnest in fifth.

Winder-Barrow Speedway is slated to return to action on Saturday, April 13, as the raceway will host the Mini-Late Models. For more information, visit WinderBarrowSpeedway.net.
