A man from Lula died in a two-car accident on highway 365 Monday afternoon.
Sargent First Class Auston Allen says troopers responded to the scene around 12:33 p.m. and determined that 75-year old Donald Wilson tried to cross the highway in his Toyota from Belton Bridge Road.
Allen says Wilson failed to yield to 55-year old Daniel Campbell, who was traveling northbound in the right hand lane.
Wilson's car was hit in the side and emergency crews declared him dead on the scene.
Allen says no charges will be filed in the incident.
