A Forsyth County birthday party didn't need a clown because a K-9 deputy showed up instead.
The Forsyth County Sheriff Office's Facebook page posted pictures of Deputy First Class Enrique Escolano and his canine partner Ivvo as special guests at a 9-year old's birthday party.
The deputy took time to speak to young Gavin and his friends about his job, handed out junior deputy badges, and took part in a nerf gun battle.
Gavin's mother thanked the department and said,“These boys will treasure these memories forever. Thank you to Enrique Escolano and to Forsyth County for hiring the best.”
