CLARKESVILLE – Roughly 48 hours after reaching out to the public for help in locating a woman missing since March 5, Clarkesville Police Chief Brad Barrett said that woman has been located.
Rebecca “Becca” Elaine Wood, 23, has been located and is safe, Barrett said Sunday night.
Barrett and his department reached out to area media outlets, social media and the public Friday night to generate leads on her whereabouts.
No other details about the circumstances of her disappearance have been released.
