The North Hall girls tennis team earned the No. 1 seed in the Region 7-3A tournament next month with a 5-0 win over East Hall Tuesday afternoon at home.
The Lady Trojans picked up the shutout win with the help of Anna Montgomery, Lauren Davis and Lauren White – all in straight sets.
In doubles action, Sydney Patterson and Raquel Kallab and Ella Oxley and Baylee Turner also won in straights.
The win improved the Lady Trojans to 12-3 overall and 6-0 in region play.
On the boys' side, the Trojans also blanked East Hall. The win secured North Hall the No. 2 seed in the region tournament.
In singles action, Ethan Surles, Kody Dills and Jonathan Elder all won in straight sets.
In doubles, Forrester Terry and Jackson Roush and Noah Wagner and Jake Bruce also won in straight sets.
The Trojans are 9-6 overall and finished with a 4-1 record in region play.
Both teams will travel to Jackson County Wednesday.

The Lady Falcons edged Denmark Tuesday night at home.
Flowery Branch swept the singles action in straight sets. Annabelle Thomas (6-0, 6-0), Alyssa McSpadden (6-1, 6-0) and Olivia Nance (6-1, 6-1) all won.
The Lady Falcons dropped both doubles matches.
Flowery Branch will host Winder-Barrow Wednesday.

Jack Thomas picked up the lone win for the Falcons Tuesday night in the Region 7-4A loss to Denmark.
Thomas, No. 2 singles, beat his opponent, 7-5, 6-4.
Flowery Branch will host Winder-Barrow Wednesday.
