The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series made its first short track start of the season at the legendary Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, and Brad Keselowski cemented his spot as a contender this season with his second win of the year.

On this week's Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed, Pete McCole and Amy Henderson (who was on the ground in Martinsville over the weekend) take a look back at the STP 500, including:

-Keselowski dominated Sunday's race, leading all but 54 laps en route to the win.

-Chase Elliott had his best runs of the season, almost chasing down Keselowski before having to settle for second.

-Joey Logano and Jimmie Johnson, who both are usually on the short list to win at Martinsville, both struggled mightily on Sunday.

-Brandon thinks he has the answer to the MENCS big track qualifying woes.  How hard could it be?

-The HLT crew previews this weekend's action at Texas Motor Speedway.

WDUN will carry live PRN radio coverage of all the action from Martinsville this weekend.  Coverage begins on Saturday with the NASCAR Xfinity Series My Bariatric Solutions 300 beginning at 12:30 on 102.9 FM and streaming live on AccessWDUN.  Then on Sunday, it’s the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 beginning at 2 o’clock on WDUN 102.9 FM, AM 550 or streaming live on AccessWDUN.
