A Dawsonville man and registered sex offender is in jail after allegedly going into the restroom of a Pickens County elementary school Friday.
Fox-5 reports Bruce Lee Daniell, 57, walked on the the campus of Tate Elementary School and made his way to a student restroom.
Daniell was confronted by a school resource officer who made a copy of Daniell's ID before escorting him off campus. When it was later learned he was on the sex offender registry, Daniell was then arrested at his Dawson County home.
The school said, though children were around Daniell, he is not known to have had any physical contact with any of them.
