OAKWOOD — The Johnson girls soccer team was on fire Friday afternoon against Cedar Shoals.
The Lady Knights (6-5, 1-1) had six players hit the net to blow out Cedar Shoals, 10-0 at home.
Johnson took care of business in the first half, scoring nine goals. Emi Kuhs led the way with three, followed by Dani Malone and Eileen Cruz with two each. Jenna Degroot and Carla Avalos each added on goal.
Madison Booker put the bow on the victory with a free kick to finish the game.
The Lady Knights will travel to Jackson County Tuesday. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
On the boys' side, seven players scored goals to help the Knights shutout Cedar Shoals, 8-0.
Cole Bowen led the way with two goals. Junior Arellano, Jonathan Miralrio, Rudy Granados, Juan Carlos Gomez, Edgar Lopez and Diego Chavez all scored for the Knights.
Ellam Chavez had two assists and Miralrio, Tony Maldonado and Rudy Orosco each had one.
Cooper Bowen had one save in goal.
The Knights (10-2, 4-0) will travel to Clarke Central on Friday.

FANNIN COUNTY 0
The Class 3A third-ranked Vikings rolled past Fannin County Friday night at home.
Sergio Turcios scored one goal and had two assists, Averen Samuels also booted a goal and recorded one assist and Maury Ibarra scored one goal. Daniel Carrillo had four saves in goal on the night.
The Vikings (9-1-1, 2-0) will host Lumpkin Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

FANNIN COUNTY 0
Nayeli Zamora and Rosa Montes scored one goal each to lead the Lady Vikings past Fannin County Friday night at home.
Denci Murrillo added one assist and Makelvia Holder had four saves in goal.
East Hall (3-6-1, 1-1-) will host Lumpkin County Tuesday. Game time is 5:30 p.m.

The Lady War Eagles scored seven goals in a shutout non-region win Friday night against Rabun Gap.
Kyleigh Drew led the way with four goals with assists from Seline Cuevas, Elizabeth Leon and Greysen Wood. Greysen Wood also found the back of the net with one goal. Elizabeth Domigoes assisted Wood on the goal. Venessa Camacho had one goal and Kyleigh Drew dished out one assist.
