Posted 4:25PM on Friday 22nd March 2019 ( 5 years ago )

Georgia students could see computer science classes offered in the coming years if Senate Bill 108 passes the legislature by April 2nd.

The bill would require all high schools to offer at least one computer science class within the next six years.

As well, all middle schoolers would be offered an "exploratory" class.

Charter schools would also be included in the plan.

The bill is sponsored by Senator P.K. Martin of Lawrenceville and co-signed by Senator Butch Miller of Gainesville.
