A Publix Supermarket will anchor a new 82,000-square-foot shopping center at the intersection of Bannister Road and Matt Highway in Cumming.
Groundbreaking for The Publix at Matt shopping center is planned April 11. The complex is scheduled to open in summer 2020.
A mix of other services and restaurants will make up the remainder of the center.
According to a news release from the developer, Retail Planning Corporation of Atlanta, additional signed leases include Great Clips, Nail Talk & Tan, J. Christopher’s and AT&T. Ongoing leasing efforts will target restaurants, beauty and health services, shipping facilities, financial services, children’s daycare, fast casual and fast food restaurants.
