Two young brothers from Winder have been identified as the victims of a double homicide at a Gwinnett County apartment complex.
Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Department identified the pair as Billy Roy Thurman, 25, and William Thurman, 17. A female cousin of the boys, Beonka Thurman, 27, suffering a gunshot wound to the foot during the incident.
All three were in the laundry room at The Park at Peachtree Apartments in Peachtree Corners when the crimes occurred, according to police. Beonka Thurman made the original call to 911 around 4 a.m. Thursday, March 21.
Police said the victims were not residents of the apartment complex, but they were visiting a family member who lives there.
At this point, police do not have a motive for the crimes. Suspects have not been identified.
