*St. Michael's Catholic Church in Gainesville will host its annual Passion Play on Good Friday, April 19, at 11:00 at Laurel Park. The event, which depicts Jesus' journey to his crucifixion, typically draws between 4,000 and 5,000 spectators, according to church officials.

*Habersham EMC officials are getting reports of a telephone scam in which people are getting calls from someone saying their power will be disconnected unless they make a payment through the caller or by calling a number they are given.  EMC officials say if you get such a call, you should hang up at once and report the call to law enforcement.

*Monday's Hall County Commission work session has been canceled and a called work session scheduled for 3:00 Tuesday.

*This year's Hall County Master Gardeners' Spring Expo will be held April 5-6 at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center.

*The WorkSource Georgia Mountains Career Coach will visit the Good Samaritan Food Bank on McEver Road in Gainesville March March 27 9:00-11:00 and the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch April 3 10:00-2:00.  Experts will be on hand to help attendees search and apply for jobs, write resumes and cover letters, discern their career interests, and learn about funded training opportunities. There is no charge to attend.

*Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful has been recognized by Keep America Beautiful with a President's Circle Award.
