The woman who investigators say drove over the foot of a Lumpkin County Sheriff Deputy Friday is now identified as Valery Michelle Barron, 33, Cleveland.
Barron is said to have been attempting to break into a home when the deputy attempted to arrest her and she escaped in a car and drove over the deputy's foot.
The Sheriff's office says the deputy was not injured and shots that were fired did not hit Barron.
She was captured a short time later in White County.
