There were no injuries, but a storage building was heavily damaged due to a fire in Gainesville on Sunday afternoon.
According to Gainesville Fire Division Chief Keith Smith, fire personnel responded to Parkway Drive off of West Avenue in reference to a fire at a 10 x 15 storage building.
Smith said while the storage building was a total loss, there were no injuries due to the blaze.
Smith added that fire personnel quickly worked to extinguish the fire, and that an investigator was responding to the scene to determine the cause.
Gainesville Fire crews responded to a blaze at an outbuilding on Parkway Drive on Sunday. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
