BISHOP — The North Hall girls golf team finished second at the 2019 Lady Titans Classic Saturday at Lane Creek Golf Course.
Less than a week after winning the Hall County Championship, North Hall sophomore Mikayla Dubnik also took low medalist honors firing an even par 72.
The Lady Trojans shot a 259 while Tallulah Falls shot a 248 to grab the top spot. Elbert County finished 3rd with a 259.
Meanwhile, just up the road in Athens, the Gainesville boys golf team finished third in the 24-teams field at the Athens Classic at the UGA Golf Course. The Red Elephants finished with a round of 307. Sophomore Andrew Hughes made All-Tournament team after shooting a solid 73 and coming in second individually.
And, the Gainesville girls finished third at the Lady Bronco Invitational scramble at Summit Chase Country Club in Snellville on Saturday.
