Wild & Scenic Film Festival returns to downtown Gainesville May 11

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper will be hosting its 5th annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival from 6:00-9:30 May 11 at the Brenau Downtown Center in Gainesville.

Doors will open at 6 pm for a happy hour, featuring an environmental expo; prizes from local outfitters, restaurants, and other businesses; light appetizers; and SweetWater beer for those 21 and older.

:00The films will begin at 7:00, featuring a collection of environmental and adventure works that illustrate Earth’s beauty, challenges facing the planet, and communities working around the world to protect the environment. Funds raised through this event will be used to grow and sustain the Riverkeeper’s Neighborhood Water Watch program. To learn more about NWW, visit the CRK web site.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased on line and in Riverkeeper store in Gainesville at 104 Washington St SE.

Price: $20. All tickets include an annual membership to Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Ticket prices will increase by $10 at the door.
