The Chestatee War Eagle baseball team has started the season 7-2 and continues to prep for a grueling Region 7-4A schedule.
Chestatee coach Jon Brewer knows the region schedule is not going to be an easy one. With teams like Blessed Trinity, Marist, Flowery Branch, White County, West Hall and Denmark, the region schedule is truly a gauntlet.
So far, the War Eagles are putting themselves to the test against non-region teams like Habersham Central, Hart County, Dawson County, Franklin County and North Oconee.
Brewer dropped by the studio earlier this week to talk about his team's play so far this season. He also talks about the region and the goal of making the Class 4A state playoffs.
