Girls soccer: No. 6 Branch opens 7-4A with shutout win

ALPHARETTA — Larsyn Reid recorded a hat trick and added an assist to lead the Class 4A No. 6-ranked Flowery Branch girls soccer team to a 6-0 win over Denmark Friday night in its Region 7-4A opener.

McKenzie Kent added a goal and two assists, Caroline Wysocki had a goal and an assist, and Rachel Biasi also registered a goal for the Lady Falcons (4-2-1, 1-0 Region 7-4A). Maggie Wadsworth provided a pair of assists as well.

Hannah Pimentel and Peyton Satterfield combined for the shutout in goal, the Lady Falcons' second of the season.

Flowery Branch next will travel to Chestatee on Tuesday in another region battle.
