Tennis: GHS boys improve to 2-0 with win over Dacula; Brookwood sweeps Branch

GAINESVILLE – The Gainesville boys tennis team shutout Dacula, 5-0, Tuesday at Longwood Park to improve to 2-0 in region play.

Singles results

Dylan Pineda – 6-0, 6-0 
Philip Mady – 6-0, 6-1 
Ben Burns – 6-0, 6-2

Doubles results

Michael Head/Caleb Anderson – 6-0, 6-0
Joseph Diaz/Matthew Carter – 6-1, 6-0

Gainesville will travel to Riverside on Thursday.

The Falcons struggled to win a set in the shutout loss to Brookwood Tuesday at home.
