CUMMING — The Flowery Branch tennis teams both has solid showing's Saturday at the South Forsyth Tournament.
The Lady Falcons advanced all the way to the championship match before falling to host and Class 7A South Forsyth 3-0 in the finals.
The Flowery Branch girls nipped both West Forsyth and Centennial 3-2 in the first two rounds. They whipped Duluth 4-1 in the semifinals to advance to the finals.
For the boys, they finished 2-1 in the tournament. The Falcons notched a pair of 4-1 victories over West Forsyth and Duluth before falling 4-1 to Centennial.
Jack Thomas had a solid day for the Flowery Branch boys going a perfect 3-0 at the No. 2 singles slot.
