A Friday afternoon storm that blew through North Hall County Friday afternoon left some damage behind.
Hall County Fire Services Division Chief Casey Ramsey said it was likely straight line winds that caused damage in the Clarks Bridge Road area.
"I spoke with the weather service [National Weather Service] and they confirmed the same possibility," Ramsey said. "Hall County was not under any type of watch or warning at the time and it appears that the event was isolated to those areas."
He said a number of trees were brought down on properties on Casper Drive, Wiley Road and Berkshire Road.
He added there was also roof damage to some locations; there were no reports of injuries.
The storm skipped across the area around 4:30 p.m., according to Ramsey.
