An 80-year-old northeast Georgia man, convicted of killing his adult daughter, has had his murder conviction upheld by the Georgia Supreme Court.

Frank Raymond Miller of Union County was convicted of shooting and killing Colleen Miller Grant, 59, and shooting and wounding his 19-year-old great-grandson, Sawyer Dockery.  The incident occurred in 2013 at a house on Miller Cove Road near Blairsville.

An aggravated assault conviction was also upheld.  However, the high court reversed Miller's convictions for two counts of false imprisonment, citing insufficient evidence.
