JEFFERSON — The East Hall wrestling team sent 12 of its 14 wrestlers qualifying for the Class 3A Traditional state tournament next weekend in Macon.
The top six wrestlers in each weight class qualify for state and only 1st place finishers for the girls qualify for state. The results are as follows:
AnaLeigh Whitfield – 95 lbs – 1st Place
Alivia Myers – 146 lbs – 1st Place
Melissa Evans – 156 lbs – 1st Place
Ethan Powell – 113 lbs. – 6th Place
Cody Lee – 120 lbs – 6th Place
Luis Garcia – 126 lbs – 2nd Place
Drew Highfield – 138 lbs – 4th Place
Dylan Timms – 152 lbs – 6th Place
Hunter Sunderman – 160 lbs – 6th Place
Taylor Myers – 182 lbs – 6th Place
Ramon Castillo – 195 lbs – 5th Place
Ray Grable – 285 lbs – 5th Place
Wrestling in the state tournament begins at the Macon Coliseum on Thursday, Feb. 14th.
