More details released in officer-involved shooting in Barrow County

Investigators release more details in the officer-involved shooting near Auburn that started Tuesday afternoon in Barrow County.
 
GBI Public Affairs Director Nelly Miles said 31 year-old Casey Taylor drove his black Ford F-150 with two female passengers inside when Barrow County deputies tried to stop him for failure to maintain lane.
 
Miles said after leading them into Gwinnett County and back into Barrow County, deputies performed a PIT maneuver to stop Taylor. She said that's when Taylor fired at least 10 shots at deputies before he and one of the passengers got hit by return fire.
 
The wounded female remains in the hospital, but Taylor was released and booked into the Barrow County jail.
 
The GBI continues the investigation into this, the tenth, officer-involved shooting of 2019.
