As Hall County fire crews were wrapping up their work at a residential fire on the west side of the county Sunday night, another fire broke out at a home in the North Hall area.

Hall County Fire Capt. Zachary Brackett said two firefighters fell through a floor of the home while fighting the blaze on Swimming Canoe Trail. One of them was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center to be treated for a shoulder injury.

"Arriving units reported heavy fire from the attic of a 4,000 square foot home," Brackett said in an email report. He said the fire was reported around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Two adults and two juveniles were displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross was called to provide assistance to the family.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
