An investigation is underway following a house fire on Browns Bridge Road Sunday night.
Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett said the fire was reported around 9:10 p.m. He said the home was vacant.
"Arriving units found a two story home that was fully involved with fire. A defensive operation was utilized to extinguish the fire," Brackett said via email Sunday night.
He said the road was closed for more than an hour, since a hoseline had to be stretched across the road for water supply.
As of Monday morning, investigators had not determined the cause of the fire.
