A single-vehicle crash in Dawson County Thursday left all five passengers, including three children, injured.

Georgia State Patrol Post 37 Commander Curtis Bradshaw said the Buick LaCrosse was traveling west on State Route 136 near Eagle Creek Farm Road when it veered left and went off the road, down a hill and hit several small trees.

The driver, 30-year-old Michael Don Land of Dawsonville, was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center of Gainesville with non-life-threatening injuries. Four other passengers were in the car, including three children ages 4, 5 and 6. All of those children were eventually taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta with one suffering what Bradshaw called serious injuries.

Land's adult passenger, 30-year-old Crystal Gooch, also of Dawsonville, also suffered serious injuries.

Bradshaw said the crash is still under investigation. No timetable has been given for its completion.

The wreck happened at around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
