A man and woman from Gainesville are both facing at least 20 years behind bars after being convicted on charges related to sex trafficking Wednesday.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that 32-year-old Eric Joshua Robertson and 38-year-old Laronda James Moore were each found guilty in Hall County court on charges of trafficking a minor and second-degree cruelty to children.

The charges are from alleged incidents that occurred in 2017. Robertson and Moore were arrested on separate searches during January of 2018.

Hall County authorities said the victim had been living with the couple at a residence on Miller Drive in the east part of the county when the alleged abuse took place.

Robertson was sentenced to 25 years in prison with another 15 years to be spent on probation. Moore was sentenced to 25 years total with 20 of those in prison.
