When the Lakeview girls step on the court tonight, it'll be their first-ever appearance in the Lanierland Tournament finals.
It's just one of many firsts in the 60th edition of the state's oldest invitational tournament.
The Cherokee Bluff boys and girls both made their first semifinals, while several other teams broke long droughts -- the West Hall boys making their first finals since 2008 and the Johnson boys making their first semifinal since 2014.
But It all ends tonight with a boys and girls team crowned the 60th Lanierland champions.
