Two people were killed in a mobile home fire in Hall County Sunday morning.

Jesse Hinds, 40, and Jesse Hinds Jr., 9, were found inside the single-wide mobile home after the fire was extinguished, according to Hall County Fire Division Chief Zach Brackett. They were father and son.

Brackett said in a press release their firefighters responded to the call just before 8 a.m. in 5400 block of Smallwood Road. They arrived to find the single-wide fully involved with fire.

The cause of the fire hasn't been determined, but the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating, Brackett said.

The boy was a student at Mt. Vernon Elementary School, and Hall County School District officials said grief counselors would be available at the school all day Monday to counsel with students and faculty.
