After several months of investigation, the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) has arrested 13 people on gang-related charges in Habersham County.

ARDEO Special Agent in Charge Trent Hillsman said two search warrants were executed on residences in the county this week, resulting in the arrests of suspects from Georgia and Tennessee.

Hillsman said all of those involved were connected to the Neo-Nazi street gang known as They Aryan Brotherhood.

"The 'Aryan Brotherhood' is a dangerous criminal organization that is involved in violence, firearms and transportation of illegal narcotics," Hillsman said in a press release. "The investigation continues, more people and charges are expected to come."

Those arrested face charges ranging from drug offenses to racketeering to street gang terrorism. A list of suspects and related charges is listed below.

Hillsman said the Baldwin Police Department, Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Community Supervision and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Gang Task Force assisted in the investigation and arrests.
