As work continues on the Browns Bridge replacement project between Hall and Forsyth counties, the Georgia Department of Transportation has announced a schedule of daytime lane closures for the busy corridor.
For Thursday and Friday, Nov. 14 and 15, daytime lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
GDOT spokeswoman Katie Strickland said the lane closures will allow for the unloading of five steel bridge beams.
Monday night an evening lane closure will occur at 7 p.m. and continue through Tuesday at 6 a.m. During that time, construction crews will be pouring a concrete footer that will support the new bridge.
Next week - November 18 through 22 - SR 369 (Browns Bridge Road) will have a daily lane closure from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. to unload five additional bridge beams.
Strickland said motorists can expect delays in the area.
