UGA moves to No. 4 in latest CFP rankings; LSU No. 1; Bama drops to fifth

Georgia moved up two spots and into the College Football Playoff rankings as the No. 4 team in the country and LSU is the nation's new No. 1 team in the rankings.

The Tigers jumped over Ohio State to take the top spot after beating Alabama, 46-41, in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Ohio State is No. 2 followed by Clemson at No. 3. The committee dropped the Tide to fifth.

Penn State, which had been No. 4, lost 31-26 at Minnesota and fell to ninth. The unbeaten Gophers jumped nine spots to eighth.

Georgia moved up two spots to give the Southeastern Conference two of the top four for the second straight week.
